Who this notice covers
Money, Remade operates this publication. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to [email protected].
This notice covers information handled by moneyremade.com. An external provider reached through a product or partner link applies its own privacy notice after you leave our site.
02
Information you send to us
The contact form asks for a name, email address, message topic, subject and message. We use that information to deliver the message to the editorial desk, understand the request, reply, investigate a correction or discuss a proposed collaboration.
Please do not send passwords, wallet seed phrases, private keys, payment-card numbers, identity documents or other sensitive financial information through the contact form.
03
Technical information
The contact endpoint reads the request IP address for rate limiting. Submission timestamps from the preceding 15 minutes determine whether the current request can be accepted. The application keeps this record only in server-process memory and does not write it to a permanent contact database.
A timestamp stops counting toward the limit after 15 minutes. An inactive IP entry can remain in process memory until another request from that address refreshes it, the server process restarts or the rate-limit store reaches its safety cap and is cleared.
Hosting and infrastructure providers may process ordinary request information such as an IP address, browser or device details, requested URL, time and security diagnostics in their operational logs. They handle that information under their own service and privacy terms.
05
How and why we use information
We use contact information to respond to a message, maintain the security and reliability of the service, keep an appropriate record of corrections or business correspondence, and meet legal obligations. Where data-protection law requires a lawful basis, these activities generally rely on our legitimate interests in operating a secure publication and answering messages initiated by readers, or on a legal obligation where one applies.
We do not use contact-form information for automated decisions about a person, sell it as a marketing list or add the sender to promotional email without a separate choice.
06
Who handles the information
Contact messages are sent through Cloudflare Email Service to the mailbox configured for the Money, Remade editorial desk. Hosting, security, email-delivery and inbox providers may process the limited information needed to provide those services. They may operate in more than one country and apply their contractual safeguards to international processing.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect the service or establish, exercise or defend legal rights. We do not sell contact-form personal information.
07
How long we keep it
Rate-limit timestamps stop affecting a submission after 15 minutes. The associated in-memory entry follows the process-level cleanup described above and is not copied into the application contact database because no such database is used.
Contact correspondence is kept only while it is reasonably needed to answer the message, resolve the subject, maintain an appropriate editorial or business record, or meet a legal requirement. It is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed for those purposes.
08
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an objection to certain uses of your personal information. You may also be able to complain to the data-protection authority where you live or work.
Send a privacy request to [email protected]. We may need enough information to verify the request and locate the relevant correspondence. You can also choose not to use the contact form and read the public site without identifying yourself to Money, Remade.
